Collegium Glashütten – Zentrum für Kommunikation supports the protection of our users' privacy and maintains strictly to the rules of data protection, in particular to the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The following explanations are an overview of how we guarantee this protection and what kind of data is processed for which purpose.

Data processing on this website

Personal data is generally collected on this website only to the extent technically necessary. In our server log files we collect and save automatically some of the information your browser transmittes, as far as your browser provides them. These data can not be assigned to specific persons. A merge of this data with other data sources will not be done. In no case the collected data will be transmitted to third parties without your consent.

Cookies

When visiting our website, we occasionally use cookies - small text files that are stored on your computer and stored by your browser. They are used to make our site user-friendly, effective and secure. Passwords are not stored in cookies. The cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They will be reset automatically at the end of your visit as soon as you log out. If you end the session by closing your browser, the cookie persists and become overwritten or deleted by the client after a while. Our cookies do not harm your computer and contain no viruses.

Processing of personal data

In order to send you the publications and newsletters offered on the website and ordered by you, we use an order form to ask for your name, address and e-mail address. This data is stored and used only for the purpose of carrying out the dispatch based on Art. 6 (1 b) GDPR. A passing on to third parties does not occur. By entering your data (name, address, e-mail address) in the form you give us your consent to the storage of the data and their use to send the requested information. The personal data that you provide for the subscription to the newsletter will be stored until you revoke the subscription with effect for the future.

Personal data from the entry in our request forms "contact" and "booking request" are used exclusively for the purpose of processing your questions or suggestions that you have sent to us using the contact form. This data will not be transmitted to third parties or used for any other purpose, including advertising. We store this data until the purpose for which we have received this data ceases to exist and the legal retention periods have expired. Otherwise, we will delete it after four weeks. If you wish to receive a reply by e-mail, you agree with entering your e-mail address that we will send you the answer with an unencrypted e-mail.
