A perfectly organized conference hotel for larger groups!
We held a conference here with colleagues from Western Europe on behalf of STIHL and can wholeheartedly recommend this venue.

The Collegium is beautifully situated and well-suited for a conference away from the hustle and bustle of Frankfurt. The rooms are tidy – as befits a high-end training center – and in very good condition. In some places, the building shows signs of its former popularity, with its somewhat bulky, concrete construction. However, there is also a modern section with a very attractive, open-plan conference room featuring large glass windows (see photos). The food was very good, better than in many conference hotels, the breakfast buffet was very extensive, and the staff was very friendly.

A fantastic hotel for groups and seminars. The rooms are large and bright. The bathroom has a small window into the room, so there's natural light there too. Plenty of free parking and very quiet. The food has always been delicious, with very few exceptions. Great team.

Beautiful, spacious rooms with balconies and lovely views. Although somewhat secluded, it's very quiet. The food is excellent and the staff are courteous and solution-oriented.

Nice hotel for a short trip.
Dinner and breakfast were very tasty.
There was a wide selection of vegan options at breakfast.
Unfortunately, there were no bathrobes for the spa area, and only a few small towels were available. There were also very few loungers. We were lucky, but there were many guests without loungers.
The beds were a bit worn.

We were completely satisfied. The pool is a bit cold, but it's perfect after coming out of the sauna.

We stayed at the Collegium for one night to attend a nearby birthday party. Booking through Expedia was straightforward.
Overall, the hotel makes a decent impression. Our room was newly renovated and modernly furnished. The breakfast buffet is plentiful.
However, the reason for my review is the hotel's remote location. We wanted to take a taxi to Idstein. The receptionist recommended pre-booking a taxi.
Ultimately, the taxi arrived 20 minutes late and charged us €15 for the trip from Kronberg… I recommend comparing prices.

The rooms themselves are really lovely – bright, spacious, and clean. The same goes for the bathroom. We were a bit taken aback by the highly unexpected window in the wall between the sleeping area and the bathroom. It's certainly great if you want to watch your travel companion showering and using the toilet. But that's probably more for a very specific clientele. This arrangement is rounded off by the glass sliding door to the bathroom, which opens noisily and otherwise doesn't dampen any noise, ensuring that you're guaranteed to hear your companion every time they go into the bathroom. So every trip to the toilet becomes an auditory experience as well. A feeling of being there for everyone else, which was a bit too much for us… I'm sure there are people who like that, but we would have preferred a bit more privacy.
The view from the balcony was fantastic, the superb breakfast lifted our spirits, and the staff was very friendly. Nevertheless, advance warning regarding the window (or the option of an activated privacy screen) and a proper door would have been great. As it stands, the experience of staying here will unfortunately likely remain a one-time event.
